Sweet Potato Hummus


This delicious variation on hummus is the perfect sidekick to a platter of crudités or gluten-free crackers. Try leftovers as a sandwich spread. A staple of Arab cuisine, za’atar is a vibrant spice blend consisting mainly of thyme, toasted sesame seeds and ground sumac berries. It’s worth seeking out at Middle Eastern shops or well-stocked specialty food stores. However, this hummus is praiseworthy without it.
