Gluten-Free Bread Sticks

Brazilians use versatile Pao de Queijo dough to make delicious gluten-free bread sticks. If not eaten immediately, store cooled bread sticks in a closed container in the refrigerator for a few days. To soften chilled bread sticks, warm them briefly in the microwave.

1 recipe Cheese Bread Rolls dough
4 ounces sesame seeds, sea salt or grated cheese, optional

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a large baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.

2. Using a ¼-cup scoop or lightly oiled hands, form the dough into 10 logs, each about 4 inches long.

3. Sprinkle sesame seeds, if using, on a clean work surface and roll logs over seeds to coat. If seeds don’t adhere, spray dough with a little water and roll again. Place logs on prepared baking sheet.

4. Place in preheated oven and bake 25 to 35 minutes.

5. Remove from oven and let cool.
