Adamis Pharmaceuticals announced that the FDA has approved a lower-dose version (0.15mg) of Symjepi, an epinephrine-prefilled syringe, for emergency treatment of anaphylaxis in children who weigh between 33 and 65 pounds. Last year, the FDA approved a 0.3mg-dose version of Symjepi for older kids weighing 66 pounds or more.

Symjepi products will be distributed in the United States by Sandoz Inc.
