Letter: Real Life Gluten-Free Lessons

The reader’s letter about “Diary of a Dad” (April/May 2009) surprised me. She wrote that she would never serve a gluten-free pizza to her celiac son while she eats a regular take-out pizza. How does she expect her son to live in a gluten-laden world? Surely he needs to understand that others aren’t required to be gluten free.
