These chewy fig hemp balls of energy are great for an afternoon pick-me-up. If desired, swap out the figs for dates and use homemade hemp butter in lieu of sunflower butter. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. The hemp protein powder used in this recipe is a valuable, easy-to-digest protein source for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Depending on the brand, powders have varying amounts of dietary fiber and omega fats.
