Grab Your Partner: 6 Exercise Moves to do at Home!

This routine can be appropriately challenging for both partners, regardless of differences in fitness level and body size. Both partners will be equally active at all times during the workout. Before beginning, warm up for about 5 minutes with a combination of movements, such as jogging, jumping jacks, squats or lunges. Perform each of the following exercises for 40 seconds and rest for 20 seconds. Allow a 1- to 2-minute rest after completing a full circuit of all these exercises. Repeat the circuit 3 to 5 times as you feel comfortable.

Make exercise a team effort

Working out with your partner creates accountability. You’re less likely to make excuses if someone is depending on you to show up. It also provides motivation—you can cheer each other on. You may even find you’re pushing harder during your workouts.
