A Balanced Allergy Free Diet

Regarding your article “How Sweet It Is!” (Feb/March 2009), I’ve had celiac disease for 25 years and recently was diagnosed fructose intolerant (FI), which means no sugars, molasses, honey, most artificial sweeteners. I can eat only a few fruits and have very little tolerance for bread or starch. I’m finding celiac disease a walk in the park compared to FI. I encourage celiacs to find balance and caution them about feeling deprived.
